Over the past few years we have seen simple to extreme décor. Some of our brides stick with the traditional wedding white color schemes and use a little bit of color to give their own personal touch to the event. Most of these weddings utilize white chairs, simple table centerpieces, and use fresh flowers to create a simple, but elegant setting.
The use of colored, damask, or monogrammed table linens in white, pastel or vibrant colors is a step-up in décor pricing. Some of these schemes will utilize chair covers, more elaborate centerpieces, special lighting, as well as other décor, which we can provide at a reasonable cost to our brides.
Stepping up the decor ladder are the truly unique weddings, which utilize high-back chairs in gold or silver, elaborate tenting with lighting and heat, broad-striped or themed linens, as well as other unique décor. These tables sometimes utilize shear overlays on the tabletops, as well as, silver candelabras, or topiaries on the guest tables.
Themed weddings Luau-style, utilize specialty lines that we can bring in from vendors all over the country. We have brought in sand and put it around the buffet as well as bar areas. We have rented "Tommy Bahama-Style" linens, rented bamboo chairs, brought in palm trees up to 12ft. high, and dressed in a more casual uniform to complete the theme. Coconuts and Shells can be used for table centerpieces. Paper lanterns have been used for décor as well as tent lighting. Grass skirting, bamboo, or netting can be used on the buffet to complete the look.
Mexican Fiestas use orange, red and blue color schemes. Chairs are often natural wood. Different color linens and authentic Mexican blankets have been used to cover the tables. Centerpiece and buffet décor ideas include live cactus, sombreros, terra cotta pots, and other Spanish-American props.
From formal to casual, luau to Mexican themes, Gallucci's Catering can customize the menu, level or service, and décor to fit your needs a, as well as budget. We have a separate décor division that may be reached at 253-891-9294. Treia and Shari are anxiously waiting to here about your new and unique ideas.
