This month we have chosen Lauren and Hunter’s wedding because it was definitely one for the books. From the unique venue to the extraordinary menu, down to the linens and place settings, it was truly the wedding of a lifetime. We were honored to be a part of this special wedding and wanted to share how beautiful this day was. (click on images to view)
We conducted an interview via email with the bride’s mom, Karen Cascio, who helped with the planning process. The planning took 10 months. Karen said the best part of it was deciding the venue. The couple had their wedding at the bride’s aunt and uncle’s summer house on the south shore of Hood Canal. (The perfect PNW summer location!) They transformed the summer home into an elegant, intimate wedding venue accommodating 112 family and friends.
This extraordinary menu was created by Lauren and her mom based on family dinners served at the summer home and catered by yours truly. Karen mentioned they were thrilled how their family recipes were “fresh and superbly prepared and presented by Gallucci’s”.

The menu favorite was the crab of course! It was hard to pick a favorite side dish because they were all delicious Karen said.
The bride and Karen worked with Polly Ann Buis our director of sales. Karen said, ” Polly was a dream to work with… Polly was helpful, easy to work with and so accommodating! Every promise was fullfilled!”
As you can see this wedding was nothing shy of perfection! Thank you to everyone who contributed to this special day.
